What we do
Add Domain provides information: domain availability from public registry data, dated price lists, links to a registrar, DNS record templates for ChatGPT Sites and live DNS lookups. We do not sell, register, hold or renew domains and we do not process payments.
Purchases
Any purchase happens on the registrar's website under the registrar's terms, in your own account. The registrar is responsible for registration, renewal, refunds and support of the domain.
Accuracy
Availability results reflect the registry's answer at the moment of the check and can change; premium and reserved names may be refused at checkout. Missing registry data does not mean a name is free. Prices are the registrar's listed estimates on the date shown and may differ at checkout. DNS record names follow published owner reports and OpenAI's documentation; your Site settings are authoritative. Visible public DNS is not the same as a connected Site with HTTPS.
Your data
We do not require an account. Lookup names are sent to public registry or DNS services to answer the request. This application does not create accounts, set tracking cookies, or store a customer database. If this browser remembers a domain name you reviewed, it stays on this device in local storage under a bounded schema (name and host only, no contacts, payment or tokens) so you can return after registrar checkout. You can forget that name from the resume card. The address in the page link is enough on its own. Hosting and lookup providers may process operational request data.
We keep daily aggregate request counts for known pages, skill versions, name checks, generated registrar links and requests to our registrar redirect. These counters use a fixed source category and a coarse QA, recognized-bot, prefetch or unclassified category; they contain no IP address, full user agent, searched name, DNS value, referrer, visitor identifier or payment data. The next recorded request removes aggregates older than the most recent 180 UTC calendar days. Aggregate reports are accessible through the owner's hosting database tools. A request is not proof of a unique visitor, complete reading, arrival at the registrar or a purchase. Requests to the registrar redirect include the chosen domain in the URL, as needed to open its search page; normal hosting logs may process that request.
Liability
The service is provided as is. We are not liable for a domain that turns out to be unavailable, for price differences at the registrar, for DNS changes you make, or for downtime of third-party services.
